School of Education

In the past year, the School of Education Annual Fund provided for the following:

sending faculty to workshops and conferences to strengthen their knowledge and teaching with special emphasis on working with diverse students, character education, technology, and partnerships with schools
promotion of and furthering partnership work with local schools and districts for placing Maryville students and to improve schools
some of the latest in technology such as flip cameras for use by students to record their classroom experiences
supplementation of teaching materials with DVDs and programs on the latest educational trends
support of the new SOE alumni newsletter and other ways to assist the SOE in ongoing support of alumni
